Mr. Buckingham joined McGinn Investment Management, Inc. in May 2007 and is focused on growing the individual high net worth side of the business, while helping the firm forge relationships with independent and corporate wealth advisors. He has over 30 years of financial and investment advisory experience and has advised high net worth clients with combined portfolio assets of over $115 million. With a wide range of contacts in the greater Washington, D.C. area, Mr. Buckingham has extensive expertise in investment product sales and marketing.
From 1999 to 2005, Mr. Buckingham was a Senior Vice President for SunTrust Wealth Management. At SunTrust, he was responsible for managing wealth teams in Alexandria, Virginia, and Montgomery County, Maryland. In 2005, he joined Wachovia Wealth Management in Washington, D.C. as a Vice President and Principal.
